big changes
So, I had some issues about making this public, but I figure time is of the essence and things need to be taken care of now. As of the 1st of next month, Tanya, my wife, and I will be trying a trial separation. We've been fighting for a long, long time and now. A duplex not far from our current home has opened up and we've decided it would be best if she took it. With that said, I am desperately trying to keep my home here in this house. I consider a good portion of you guys to be close friends... if you're interested in moving in, please contact me. If you know someone who is looking, feel free to pass on word. As of right now, I have two rooms open (though I've already received some phone calls and am in the process of showing the home). If you need additional coercion, I am pretty good cook and I don't mind taking care of the day to day stuff (dishes, lawn); though help is always appreciated. When Atheists a/k/a Future Muslims Attack
You read the above subject line right. I pulled that off of Debbie Schlussel's blog just a minute ago. Last week, she was a guest panelist on CNN's Paula Zahn Now. This particular episode featured a story about an atheist family that was forced to move from their city because of their religious orientation. Video links: Part 1 [YouTube], Part 2 [YouTube]. Ms. Schlussel made it very clear that she doesn't like atheists. She proclaimed (I'm paraphrasing), "I'm Jewish, but this is a Christian nation! What are these people to expect?" The Paula Zahn show did have a few other guest panelists but no atheists, agnostics, or secularists. So, of course, the humanist internet community has exploded into a writing campaign targeted at CNN; the argument being that there was no representation.
